Greenfield Architects Designs New Multifamily and Townhouse Complex
Greenfield Architects has completed the design drawings for three-five-story multifamily apartment buildings and townhouse complex, which contains studios, studio junior suites, one-bedroom and one-bedroom with den units , two-bedroom units, and three-bedroom units, as well as a 1,221 square foot maintenance building with pet wash facilities and car wash bay with vacuum and air compressor unit for car detailing. There will be 440 total units in the three buildings; 154 units in building #1, 157 units in building #2, and 129 units in building #4. The total size of the project (not including the Townhouse units) is 553,327 square feet. The Townhouse units will be constructed in a later phase. There is another five-story multifamily building that will have approximately 157 units that will also be constructed in a future phase.
The project also includes a leasing area within the main entrance area of building 1, with three offices, a workroom, an open leasing area with two leasing agents, and public restrooms for the outdoor pool and other outdoor amenities. There is a community center area located in building 4, which includes a fitness center, yoga room, kid's room, meeting room, three zoom rooms, business center, open community room, a lounge area, and public restrooms. Public open areas feature high end customized finishes, with additional design features, including kitchen amenities and furniture for guest relaxation and collaboration. A number of additional amenities are also provided including balconies, bike storage, postal equipment, tenant storage, and trash chutes on all upper floors.
High Construction Company has been selected as the general contractor for the project. Building Construction is anticipated to begin in the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2023. Limited site work for the building pads was started in 2022 and continues into the 1st quarter of 2023.
The multifamily units will be located at Willow and Greenfield Roads in East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County.
