Greenfield Architects Designs High Pointe Commons Retail Stores

Lancaster, PA—Greenfield Architects completed design drawings for two portions of retail space totaling 73,000 square feet at High Pointe Commons in Harrisburg.
Retail space of 48,000 square feet will be added between anchor stores JCPenney and Target, which are currently under construction; and another 25,000 square feet will be added as a separate retail building across from the new retail space. A mix of retailers will occupy the space.
Initial design concepts for the building shells were started in the spring of 2005, and were completed in January 2006. Designs for individual retailer fit-outs are ongoing by Greenfield Architects.
Greenfield Architects also designed the streetscape surrounding the retail stores to include colored concrete, decorative lighting, and outdoor landscaped seating areas.
High Pointe Commons is a joint venture development between CBL & Associates Properties Inc., and High Real Estate Group. The shopping center is expected to total 318,000 square feet when completed. It is scheduled to open in October 2006.
