Greenfield Architects Ltd., of Lancaster, Pa., announced that it designed the layout for the 134-room Courtyard by Marriott hotel located on Crystal Run Crossing in Middletown, N.Y., for High Hotels Ltd., Lancaster, Pa.

The new Middletown Courtyard by Marriott will be one of the first hotels to feature the brand's updated lobby and guestroom design. The design of Courtyard's lobby is open, functional, and bright, and features a walk-around front desk, a business library with individual workstations, a 24-hour food and beverage area, and a reconfigured restaurant with flexible seating areas.

The hotel is scheduled to open by the summer of 2003.
