LANCASTER, Pa.—Greenfield Architects Ltd., of Lancaster, Pa., today announced that it designed the 173,144-square-foot manufacturing facility and office for Schott Pharmaceutical Packaging Inc.

Design plans for the facility feature a masonry and composite metal panel exterior. The one-story facility will include a manufacturing plant with mechanical mezzanines, and 15,000-square feet of office, conference, cafeteria, and locker room space.

The new facility will meet the company's continuous business expansion and will replace the company's existing 73,500-square-foot plant in Cleona, Pa., as well as a separate warehouse of 37,500-square-feet.

High Construction Company of Lancaster, Pa., was selected as the builder for the facility.

Schott Pharmaceutical Packaging Inc., is located in Cleona, Pa., and produces 1.5 million pharmaceutical glass vials, ampoules, and cartridges each day. It services all major injectable drug manufacturers and employs over 150 people, in a three-shift operation.
