LANCASTER, Pa. – Greenfield Architects Ltd., of Lancaster, Pa., announced that it completed the architectural drawings for the new MOT (Middletown Odessa Townsend) Charter School facility in Middletown, Del.

The 55,000-square-foot facility features split-face masonry and concrete fiber siding on the exterior. Three main wings comprise 28 classrooms, as well as designated areas for art, music, science, and multimedia. A smaller fourth wing consists of a multipurpose room, serving as a gymnasium, auditorium, and cafeteria. The school will be equipped with high-speed data wiring and closed-circuit video monitoring.

Construction will be completed on a fast-track schedule, in less than six months, with High Construction Company serving as construction manager. The MOT Charter School facility will be ready for occupancy in July.

The school expects to open with approximately 525 students in kindergarten through sixth grade in September 2002, with the capacity to grow to 675 students in kindergarten through eighth grade in the next two years.
